Mariah is a writer based in Manchester and Oxford, UK.
Her novel-in-sonnets City of Rivers was shortlisted for the Melita Hume Prize in 2017, won the AM Heath Prize and sections were shortlisted for The Bridport Prize.
She is based in the Centre for New Writing at the University of Mancherster where she writes poems and researches traumatic memory in contemporary Irish fiction.
Mariah is also Director of Oxford Writers’ House, a hub connecting writers across Oxford’s literary communities.
